Chicken Vegetable Soup Recipe With Herbamare Low Sodium Bouillon Cubes

This was rather a quick and easy soup due to the fact that we kind of cheated and used frozen bagged soup veggies from the store but it was still good nonetheless.

Ingredients:

8 Cups of Water

1 pkg. Herbamare Bouillon Cubes (8)

1 Baby Sweet Red Pepper (chopped)

2 Green Onion Stalks

1 Cup Cubed Chicken (Cooked)

1/2 Cup Fresh or Frozen Corn

1 Bag of Soup Mix (vegetables) found in the freezer section.

1/4 Cup Of Instant Rice.

Dash of Pepper and Garlic Powder.

Directions:

Combine the bouillon cubes and the water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer. Add all other ingredients except for the rice.

Once the vegetables have been cooked fully, add the rice and remove the pot from the stove. Cover and let set for at least 5 minutes so the rice can cook.

Saying Good Bye To Summer

It’s officially the last weekend of Summer; Labor Day Long Weekend. For most people it’s the last weekend to party outdoors but for those of us with kids it’s the last chance to hit the beach before the weather turns cold.

Saying-Good-Bye-To-Summer

Since we didn’t have much of a Summer here on the East Coast this year, it was nice to have temperatures that felt like we were in the 30’s for the long-weekend. In fact, Monday hit 30° Celsius feeling like it was 39°C! A little late but we’ll take what we’re given, lol.

Saying-Good-Bye-To-Summer

We took a couple of these nice days to enjoy some beach time with relatives, roast a pack of hot dogs or two over an open fire and of course, search for sea glass, lol.

Saying-Good-Bye-To-Summer

While it may be the end of Summer and the beginning of Fall with colder weather to come, we’re looking forward to our little guys first year of school, the Fall colors and the disappearing of bugs!

Saying-Good-Bye-To-Summer

We hope you all had a great Summer with lots of family time and outdoor fun. Here’s to a great rest of the year. Until next year, Good-Bye Summer.
