#HJrecipes — Our homemade steak and cheese stuffed green peppers

The last time that we made stuffed green peppers they were delicious! So we decided to spice it up a notch and try a steak and cheese stuffed pepper and it turned out to be absolutely divine. Below is our recipe. We hope you’ll try it out and let us know what you think.

What you’ll need:

1 green pepper
1/4 cup of red pepper
1/4 cup of onion
VH Gluten-free Garlic Spare Rib Sauce
1 pkg. Chinese Fondue
1 cup grated cheese.

Dice the red pepper and onion, set aside. Fry the  fondue meat. Add the diced onion and red pepper to the meat and continue frying until tender. Add 1/4-1/2 cup of spare rib sauce and continue cooking until the sauce has evaporated.
Cut the green pepper in half and gut out the seeds. Fill with the meat mixture and cover with grated cheese. Bake on 350°F for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the pepper has become soft.

I also have another version of this recipe and you can find it here —> http://wp.me/p3CCuE-v0

*There may be left over meat. We thought we’d use it as donair meat and made our own donair sauce to go with it. Find the recipe HERE.
