Celebrating 50 Years of Canadian Pride

Both myself (J) and my wife were born and raised in Canada and Canadian Pride is in our blood! We love the freedom and diversity that we have in our country. February 15th is known as National Flag Day and today marks the 50th anniversary of our red & white flag being raised on Parliament Hill back in 1965.

This is an excellent day to celebrate our heritage as well as a day to learn more about our flag and it’s origins. You can find more information about our flag HERE.

While we don’t have any celebratory festivities in our community we’re sure there will be celebration in our nations capital as well as other major cities and we hope you and your family will be able to attend.

We will always be proud of who we are and where we are from and hope you all feel the same way. Canadian Pride Baby!

  1. We don’t have anything happening here but we are also definitely proud to be Canadian! Thanks for reminding us all:)
