- 4 cups of packed brown sugar
- 1 can of evaporated milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla Directions
- Combine brown sugar and evaporated milk and cook over medium- high heat until soft ball stage (235 degrees).
- Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla.
- Cream until smooth
- Pour into buttered pan. Let partially cool then cut them into small square pieces of fudge
If you like your fudge less creamy tasting, let it sit over night so it can dry out a bit. The hubby does this all the time as he likes his home-made brown sugar fudge to crumble and melt.
