Review of the #PlasmaCar

If you live in Canada you’ve probably been cooped up most of the Winter, and if you’ve got kids you probably wanted to pull out your hair a few times, lol! We’ve been given the opportunity to review a very fun product that’s not only fun for the kids but the adults as well, up to 220 lbs, that’ll entertain for hours! It’s also a great little work out ūüėČ

This product is known as¬†PlasmaCar¬†and is manufactured by¬†PlaSmart Inc.¬†a Canadian-based distributor of educational toys that are both smart, ingenious in our mind, and simple. Timothy Kimber was the owner of an ecommerce business who was intrigued when he saw children driving an unknown ride-on vehicle that was powered by the kids simply turning the steering wheel. He soon found the maker of this amazing toy and shortly after the company¬†PlasmaCar¬†¬†was created. They’ve been in business now for roughly two and a half decades and have distributors in over 60 countries on 5 continents. That goes to show how¬†great¬†of a company this is!

These are a few of the many awards this product has received:

  • Seal of Approval – National Parenting Center
  • Seal of Excellence – Creative Child
  • iParenting Media Toy Awards
  • Platinum Award – Oppenheim Toy Portfolio
The Original¬†PlasmaCar¬†has 5 wheels. It’s made from a thick durable plastic and is extremely easy to assemble. I’m sure the little one could put it together it’s that simple! The best part about this car is that the person using it actually has to use move in order for the car to. Perfect way to keep physically active, in shape and have fun doing it. We’ve been driving ours in the house and are really looking forward to the Summer for some outdoor driving. It’s recommended that you use the vehicles on a flat surface and they’re not recommended for wood floors as they can’t get traction. We’re actually thinking about making a cemented “arena” in the backyard to drive around. We’ll see what becomes of it, lol.

If you’re not much into cars¬†PlaSmart¬†also makes a PlasmaBike. These totally cool vehicles are available for roughly $70 and are recommended for children 3+. To find a store near you please visit the¬†store locator. It’s also very easy to assemble. You can read how to¬†HERE. Max speed is¬†(6 mph)

  1. I’m thinking of getting a plasma car for my little girl for xmas. She’s been really enjoying riding one of them at our local school play group. I love everything about this car…the design, they are easy to maneuver, and the weight limit is pretty impressive (because us adults like to give them a go too). Great toy and well worth every penny!
