Natrel’s Maple Milk Review

Going to the Sugar Camp has been something we’ve done since the little one was born. It’s a Winter Wonderland with the huge snow-covered pine trees swaying overhead everywhere you look and little, some not so much, bunny prints scattered underfoot. It’s also very exciting helping and learning how maple syrup is produced. Being Canadian, maple anything will do 🙂

We were very excited to find out that Natrel has a *NEW product called “Maple Milk”. This is a delicious dessert type milk that made the tastiest smoothie additive and was also very good when replacing milk in a recipe. We used it to replace the milk in a gluten-free pancake recipe and they turned out perfect with a delicious maple flavor to them. This milk is naturally gluten-free, made with natural maple flavor, has 1% MF (MilkFat), contains no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives and is Dairy cooperative owned by Canadian Dairy Farmers. You can find Maple Milk in most grocery stores throughout Ontario and Quebec.

  1. I have never heard of Maple Milk before but I sure am going to find it and buy it!! It would be awesome with fresh fruit or Bran Flakes actually any cereal without sugar would be yummy. Thanks for your review!

    • You’d love it Trish! We dilute it with regular milk for the little one so it’s not as sweet and he loves it. I’d imagine it would be good with unsweetened cereal, we’ll have to test it out 🙂 ~J~

  2. That is such a neat product. I love maple! It would go perfectly in pancakes and other recipies. Yay for Canadian milk 🙂

  3. I would love to know exactly what “natural maple flavour ” is. If it is actually natural maple flavour, the ingredient list should read maple syrup or maple sugar. When a food company adds “flavour” instead of the actual product, hmmmm. In my experiences there is not much natural in a “flavour”

    • Maple is a tree therefore the “Flavour” comes from that tree just as the flavour of Vanilla is extracted from the Vanilla bean. There are most definitely flavours that are artificially made but the “natural” ones you can smell from that specific plant before it being picked, Vanilla for example. There are also different processes to making maple syrup, sugar and flavour. I’m hoping this helps a bit 🙂 ~J~

  4. Had not heard of Maple Milk until reading your review. Really need to try this product!
