What is a SnackBox you ask?
– It’s a subscription service which provides you with 10-12 healthy & great tasting snacks, delivered right to your door. Each month you will be pleasantly surprised when it comes in. I was lucky to have a try at the SnackBox this Month (October) and I am gonna say that I was very impressed. I was so excited when it showed up, I had no idea what was in it.
Well here is what we got!
Veggie-Go’s Sweet Potato Pie Veggie Snack ($2.50)
Here’s an Organic fruit snack made from a purée of sweet potatoes, apples, and spices. We enjoyed it, you can taste the sweet potato and spices the most in it but it was so good! Great snack to keep in your purse, especially if you are on the go 🙂
TCHO Chocolate in Fruity Dark Chocolate ($6.97)
What is there to say about this? Well I love fruit and I love Chocolate so I guess you could say I loved this chocolate bar. I wish it came in Milk Chocolate because that’s my favorite kind but it was still delicious! And of course Dark Chocolate is healthier for you.
Vega One Bar in Double Chocolate ($3.99)
I really enjoyed this and would say it was my most favorite thing from the box. As I mentioned I love chocolate but to have double chocolate it is just so yummy..I love that it is plant-based nutrition. Dairy-Free, Organic, Gluten-free and contains no artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners.
Taste of Nature Québec Cranberry Carnival bar ($1.69)
This was the hubby’s favorite choice. It’s made with certified organic cranberries, luscious nuts and tasty seeds. They make a variety of bars to choose from and they sell for about $1.69 each which is pretty good..
Original Terra Chips ($2.50)
These are “exotic vegetable chips” made from sweet potato, taro, batata, yuca and parsnip and they come in a few different flavors. They are very colorful and make you happy eating them. Now I’m no big fan of sweet potatoes but these are actually good. I will definitely keep an eye out for them the next time I am shopping.I find that the middle 3 chips of this picture are crunchy compared to the other 2 on the ends!!!
Back to Earth Weeds & Seeds “Survival Cereal for Health Nuts” ($6.99)
We have yet to try this. I am not quite sure what to do with it. The hubby and I were thinking about possibly making some muffins and throwing some in the batter and even some home-made health bars sounds good, we just need to find the right stuff to put it all together 😀 … Any ideas?
Organic Lives Raspberry Macaroons (3 pack, $5.50)
The hubby just loves these..Its a perfectly sized ball of goodness. It tastes just like the original macaroon but with a kick of Raspberry. It was a hit here, and even my 3 1/2 year old son enjoyed them.. We each got one 🙂 Best of all… you guessed it, It’s Organic
- Free of GMOs,
- No hydrogenated oils
- No trans-fat
- No Preservatives,
- No Artificial Ingredients
I love that the bags are even free of chemicals.. Great job guys!
RUNA Clean Energy Drink in Berry ($2.99)
We really are not “Energy Drink” drinkers but we gave this product a try anyway. Although this might be perfect for others, sadly it wasn’t to our taste. It is however Vegan and has All Natural Ingredients. Each Can contains 121 mg of Caffeine and only 75 Calories. Something else I like about it, is that its Fair Trade 🙂
Skeet & Ikes Roasted Almonds ($5.99)
Almond are awesome on their own but make them Organic and it’s so much better. They are very satisfying and have just the perfect amount of salt. I love them so much that the bag was gone within 2 days :S Oupps (giggles)
