Q: What are Sweet Thins???
A: Dare Foods just introduced Sweet Thins, thin, crispy slices of bakery-style loaves that are conveniently portion-packaged into 80-calorie packs. They are the perfect on-the-go snack for a sweet indulgence.
Have you ever eaten a delicious Melba Toast? They are awesome on their own but now the folks at Grissol Canada made them with a little twist. All for the better of course. I was recently given the opportunity to try their 3 great flavors:
- Lemon PoppySeed
- Banana Bread
- Chocolate Brownie
Oh My Goodness is all I am gonna say about the taste. I honestly didn’t know how I was gonna like feel about these but I was completely impressed with them. They are packed with flavor and I really do mean it. When I eat the Brownie ones (my personal fav) it taste just like I was eating an actual freshly baked brownie, and of course it goes best with a cold glass of milk.
Some great facts about these 17g serving pack (2 slices) is there are:
· Only 80 calories
· No artificial flavours
· No artificial colours
· No cholesterol
· Trans fat free
· Low in saturated fat
Sweet Thins™ are baked in Canada at the plant in Sainte-Martine, Quebec.. My Province 🙂
Overall its a great tasting, healthy snack that fits easily in your purse for whenever you get a sweet tooth craving, it is perfect for school lunches, and the best part about it all is that you can eat it as a dessert without feeling the guilt of actually eating a brownie or slice of Banana bread (which these are equally delicious). These little treats are ONLY 80 calories per pack (each individual pack has 2 crackers in each). I really do urge you to pick some of these up and try them for yourself the next time you are out shopping. I seen them at Atlantic Sobeys for $2.99 a box. Great price. They are available at all major grocery and mass merchandise stores across Canada
