Simple Homemade Playdough

It’s raining here today and my little one is starting to go crazy hehe. He loves being outside, so I was thinking of some ways that we could have fun inside, and Playdough came to mind! Below you will find the simple recipe we used, even my son helped me out. I am sure most of you have the 5 ingredients it takes to make this great fun for kids (adults too ๐Ÿ˜› hehe)!! It only took us not even 10 minutes to get all the stuff and put it together ๐Ÿ™‚

  • 1 cup of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of Oil
  • 1 cup of water
  • Food Coloring to preference

How to

  • Combine flour, salt
  • Add in your water and oil
  • Stir until all ingredients stick together

And voilร  you have yourself some homemade, inexpensive fun!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Have you tried this recipe? What was the turn out for you?

  18. This is perfect! My little one has been watching me cut/slice veggies, etc….and wanted to help. Obviously I can’t give her my knife, but I figured using a plastic disposable one and some playdough, would keep her just as occupied. Thanks for the recipe, it will definitely be put to use this weekend ๐Ÿ™‚
