I must say tea is a treat for me as I usually pump my veins full of coffee during the day, but I love sitting down after a long day and indulging in something that puts me at ease, Tea! That is why I’m extremely happy to have been given the opportunity to share my thoughts on a few of the many flavors made by the lovely folks at Tetley Tea!
The first flavor I went for was “Vanilla Chai”, I would have to say that Chai tea is one of my favorites, so it shouldn’t be much of a surprise that I would like it mixed with a hint of vanilla! This tea smells like a homemade pumpkin pie with whipped cream and has the same type of taste, I swear! The subtle hint of the vanilla mixed with Chai is absolutely delicious and would be something I would serve in a Cafe, if I owned one that is 😉
If I were asked I would have to say that my 2 favorite tea’s would be Chai and Earl Grey (Fruit Loop taste hehe). I am not a huge fan of “green teas” so I was a little iffy about trying an earl grey flavored one, but I always keep 1 thing repeating in my mind when trying new foods is: I’ll try anything at least once” and to my surprise this tasted no different than drinking a regular Earl Grey Tea.
I love licorice, especially the black ones but don’t care much for it as a drink flavor, so I was again iffy about trying “Blueberry, Ginseng and Ginkgo” flavored one, as it smelled just like black licorice! To my surprise yet again, as soon as I added hot water to my cup, I could smell the very distinct scent of Blueberries and couldn’t really taste the other spices. This would have to be the best part about this tea, I’m getting the health benefits without the taste of them! After trying these new flavors (to me anyways), I recommend trying these flavors and any others you haven’t tried, you just might surprise yourself 😉
